The Colorado Melanoma Foundation was incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit in July 2013. Its mission is to educate the public about early detection and screening of melanoma, support patient networks, and provide current information on treatment options, sun protective behaviors, and developments in our global understanding on melanoma.
Based out of San Diego, California, The American Melanoma Foundation or AMF was founded in Southern California in 1990 by a group of melanoma patients and their relatives who believed in the importance and ever-growing need for support of specific research for new treatment approaches in melanoma, one of the most serious of all cancers.
IMPACT Melanoma is a non-profit organization based in Massachusetts that provides education, prevention, and support for the most serious form of skin cancer. Committed to skin cancer prevention and early detection, they provide a variety of award-winning programs which aim to raise awareness and educate the public about skin cancer, as well as support services for those struggling with the disease.
